Dr. Thomas is a lecturer for the School of Communication at SDSU.  He graduated from Whitman College in 2002 with a major in Rhetoric and minors in Gender Studies and Politics.  He earned his M.A. in Communication Studies from CSU Long Beach in 2004.  He earned his PhD in Communication-Rhetoric with a Doctoral Minor in Philosophy from Pennsylvania State University in 2008.  He is currently working on the role mental illness might play in the study of Martin Heidegger.
