Lin Huang (He/Him/His), B.A. in Communication, Distinction in the major and honors, UC Santa Barbara, is a social scientist.
His research interests focus on human social interactions as they intersect with technology-mediated communication, particularly AI-mediated communication.
Huang's research has been submitted/accepted to top-tier social science journals, such as the Journal of Behavioral Science and the Journal of Language and Social Psychology.

Currently, I am expanding the Communication Accommodation Theory with Dr. Howie Giles. Our theoretical piece has been invited to be submitted to the Journal of Behavioral Science.
My empirical paper, Sweet Texting: Examining Dyadic Rapport in AI-Mediated Texting Dynamics, Humans' AI-Detections, and the Perceived Identity Invisible Effect, is submitted to the Journal of Language and Social Psychology.
